Inter used their trip to London in order to discuss potentially signing Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United, a player already linked with Juventus and Napoli.

Football Italia had already exclusively reported with Alfredo Pedullà that Nerazzurri chief Piero Ausilio was in the Capital of England for some intensive negotiations over replacing coach Simone Inzaghi, who is heading towards Al-Hilal.

Inter join Serie A race for Hojlund

However, he made sure he kept himself busy during that trip and also had a meeting with Manchester United representatives.

The target in question, according to FCInterNews.it, was Denmark international striker Hojlund.

A signing worth €80m from Atalanta in 2023 plus bonuses, he scored 10 goals with four assists in 52 competitive appearances for the Old Trafford side this season.

He has repeatedly been linked with a return to Serie A for Juventus or Napoli , potentially as part of an exchange deal involving Dusan Vlahovic or Victor Osimhen.

Now Inter are also in the running, as they are expected to part company with Mehdi Taremi, Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa this summer.

If there was to be a transfer to Inter, it would need to be a loan with option to buy.
