Al Nassr hosts Al Khaleej this Sunday at Al-Awwal Park for the Saudi Pro League's Matchweek 9. Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to be one of the key players.

Ronaldo, 40, is expected to start alongside Joao Felix in the local team's attack. Both Portuguese players are in good form and available.

As could not be otherwise, this season the Real Madrid legend has been key for his team. To date, he has played 11 matches across the Saudi Pro League, King's Cup, and Super Cup, with a total of 10 goals and two assists. That is, 12 goal contributions in 11 games.

In Al Nassr's last match, a 3-1 win over Neom SC, Ronaldo contributed with a penalty goal in the 65th minute. The other goals were scored by Angelo Gabriel in the 47th minute and Joao Felix in the 86th.

How Al Nassr, Al Khaleej Approach Saudi Pro League Clash

The Knights of Najd have won all of their first eight league matches. Their most recent result was a 3-1 away win against Neom SC on Sunday, Nov. 16. Al Nassr are in 1st place in the league with 24 points after 8 games.

Inigo Martinez and Saad Haqawi are dealing with muscular problems and could be out for Al Nassr in this match. Saad Al Nasser is definitely out.

Meanwhile, Al Khaleej is on a positive run. Al Khaleej has lost only two of its first eight league matches. Their most recent result was a 4-1 away win against Al Hazem on Nov. 8.

They are currently in sixth place with 14 points, above teams like Al Ittihad, Neom SC, and Al Ettifaq.

On Al Khaleej’s side, there are no reported injuries, but Paolo Fernandes is out due to suspension after receiving a yellow card in his most recent match.
