Minnesota United will look to get their second win of the season following a draw with Seattle Sounders before the March international break.
The team was expecting to have their star player James Rodriguez back in the sqaud after the attacking midfielder played two friendly games with Colombia against Croatia and France.
Rodriguez played in Minnesota United's last MLS game, which was at home in the Allianz Field, and the match finished in a 0-0 draw.
However, the Colombian national team announced that James Rodriguez needed to be taken to the hospital, not for an injury but for a health problem regarding dehydration.
Colombia Football Federation: "It has been confirmed, after establishing communication with a medical center in the State of Minnesota, that the midfielder has been under professional observation due to a non-sports-related medical condition. The day after the match against France, the player presented with severe dehydration that required hospitalization for the past 72 hours for preventative and recovery monitoring."
James Rodriguez will not play for Minnesota United Today against the LA Galaxy.
LA Galaxy vs Minnesota United will kick off at 10:30 p.m. ET/ 7:30 p.m. PT in the United States. The match will kick off at 10:30 p.m. local time at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.
The match will be available to watch in Spanish and English in the United States.
