Is Son Heung-Min Playing Tonight for LAFC vs Toluca FC?

LAFC will play in the CONCACAF Champions Cup semifinal against Mexico's Toluca FC over two legs.

The first leg will be played today at BMO Stadium, and the opponent will be LAFC's biggest test yet in the competition. Toluca FC is the current champion of Liga MX and is a two-time champion, winning two consecutive league titles last year.

Both teams are the favorites to win the CONCACAF Champions Cup this year, and LAFC will need a good start against Toluca today before the second leg next week at the Estadio Nemesio Diez.

LAFC fans will hope to see Son Heung Min back in action after missing the previous league match over the weekend. Son's last appearance for LAFC was against the Colorado Rapids last week, where he didn't finish the match.

Son came off the pitch in the 77th minute. Over the weekend, LAFC defeated Minnesota United away from home, and the South Korean forward did not travel with the team, which caused concern about the player's fitness.

Son Heung-Min Set to Play for LAFC vs Toluca

Despite missing the previous LAFC game over the weekend in the MLS, Son Heung-Min is expected to start for LAFC for the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup semifinal match against Toluca FC.

The match will be played at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Son stayed in LA over the weekend and has been preparing for the match today.

Son is rested and will be a crucial part of the team as LAFC will be missing Denis Bouanga for tonight's match against the Mexican champions.
