Jesse Lingard looks to be heading to yet another continent as he closes in on finding his next club, this time in Brazil.

The 33-year-old has struggled to remain in one place for any considerable time since leaving Manchester United in 2022 on a free transfer to Nottingham Forest.

Lingard was with the Tricky Trees for one season, making 20 appearances with two goals and two assists before leaving at the end of his contract.

After seven months without a club, Lingard moved to Asia, joining South Korean side FC Seoul, becoming the club captain, grabbing 19 goals and 10 assists in 67 games.

However, the former Manchester United star found himself clubless once more at the end of his contract in January 2026.

Now though, his hunt for a new club is seemingly over as Brazilian outlet Globo has reported the attacker is closing in on a move to Brazilian side Remo.

It’s understood that talks have been in place, progressing well, with Lingard looking set to join the club for the remainder of the season.

Whilst Remo currently sit in the first division of Brazilian football, over recent years they’ve fallen as far as the third division.

Previously it was reported that Lingard was looking likely to return to Europe, with Robin van Persie’s Feyenoord approaching the former Red Devil.

Other interest was understood to have come from Serie A and the Premier League as well, however Jesse Lingard appears to be headed further afield rather than returning to Europe.
