Jesse Lingard’s daughter joins PSG

Jesse Lingard has continued rebuilding his career away from Manchester United after bringing an end to his long association with Old Trafford.

The former England international came through United’s academy before making 232 senior appearances for the club.

He won the FA Cup, League Cup, Community Shield and Europa League.

After leaving United in 2022, Lingard represented Nottingham Forest and FC Seoul before making a surprise move to Brazilian giants Corinthians earlier this year.

The 33-year-old has already made history in Brazil and recently became the first British player to score in the Copa do Brasil.

However, another major move involving the Lingard name has now caught the attention of football supporters.

It is not Jesse Lingard who has joined Paris Saint-Germain, but his daughter Hope Lingard.

Hope has officially started her journey with the PSG Academy, with Jesse reposting the announcement on his own feed.

The youngster was pictured wearing PSG Academy colours alongside banners featuring the French club’s crest, with the caption reading: “Day 1 PSG Academy. Let’s Go!”

The post quickly attracted thousands of likes as supporters noticed another member of the Lingard family beginning a football journey.
