Jesse Lingard’s daughter spotted with Manchester United

Jesse Lingard was a prominent part of Manchester United throughout the late 2010s, making over 200 appearances in his time at the club before leaving in 2022 to join Nottingham Forest.

At Forest, the former England international made 20 appearances across a one year stretch at the club (between 2022 and 2023) before leaving Nottingham.

Lingard has not returned to English football since with the 33-year-old making 67 appearances for FC Seoul between February 2024 and December 2025 whilst also playing 21 times for Corinthians, who he joined earlier this year.

Away from the former Manchester United attacker’s continuing football journey, his daughter (Hope Lingard) has been beginning her own footballing path as she follows in her father’s footsteps.

In the late stages of last month, Lingard began her own journey at the PSG academy with an Instagram post revealing her announcement.

Now, Hope Lingard has took to Instagram once more, posting about her day with Manchester United in the club’s academy system at Carrington Training Centre.

Posting on the social platform platform, the PSG academy player published 11 photos documenting her day with the United academy, including a picture of her alongside a mural of Jesse Lingard.

She also captioned the post, saying: “The most amazing day at @manutd @manutdacad.

“Thank you so much @camerondohertycoaching_ for always giving us the best opportunities.

“Spotted daddy too @jesselingard”.

Whilst Hope Lingard looks to be committed to PSG, her visit to Manchester United stands out as a sharp reminder of the connection between the club and the Lingard family.

With the visit now concluded, focus for Hope may switch towards preparing for the upcoming season which is due to start shortly.

For Manchester United supporters, her promising journey could be one to watch in the coming years as it develops even further.
