Juventus had been pursuing Lois Openda for over 10 days, as talks with PSG for Randal Kolo Muani have dragged on for weeks without yielding an agreement between the two clubs.
Belgian striker Openda will undergo medical tests with Juventus today.
Football Italia was the first media outlet to report Juventus’ interest in Openda on August 20, as the Bianconeri struggled to reach an agreement with PSG over the return of Kolo Muani.
Clearly, Juventus sounded out different options over the last few days and ultimately dropped the French forward to sign Openda.
Juventus are set to invest a fee between €45m and €50m to sign the Belgium international, who will land in Italy later today to undergo medical tests and sign his contract with the Old Lady.
Juventus have been extremely busy in the last hours of the summer transfer window, having also reached an agreement with Lille to sign Edon Zhegrova.
