Juventus confirm that Tarik Muharemovic’s move to Leeds United will generate a ‘positive economic impact of approximately €17.4m.’

Juventus have officially confirmed the income they’ve received following Muharemovic’s move to Leeds United from Sassuolo.

The defender’s move was confirmed last week. Muharemovic is a former Juventus defender, and the Bianconeri held a 50% sell-on clause, allowing them to receive half of any future sale of the Bosnian.

With a statement released on Wednesday (via Tuttosport), Juventus announced that Muharemovic’s transfer to Leeds will “generate a positive economic impact on the current financial year amounting to approximately €17.4m, net of ancillary charges.”

Muharemovic, 23, played in the Juventus Primavera and NextGen teams but never made his senior debut with the Old Lady.

He spent the last two seasons at Sassuolo, earning Serie A promotion in 2024-25 and making 32 appearances with the Neroverdi last term.

A Bosnia and Herzegovina international, Muharemovic featured at the 2026 World Cup, making three appearances in the competition.

He has signed a contract until June 2031 at Leeds United.
