David de Gea is one of the best goalkeepers of all time, with the former Spain international playing for clubs such as Atletico Madrid and Manchester United.

The shot-stopper, who made 545 appearances for United in his time at Old Trafford, currently plays for Fiorentina where he has made 73 appearances across nearly two years, including a return to Old Trafford last summer.

As the number one choice this season, the 35-year-old has kept three clean sheets in 25 games whilst also saving a penalty, helping the outfit as they aim for success.

Meanwhile, de Gea has made 78 saves and had 480 successful passes, demonstrating his ability with his hands and feet.

However, with the summer window coming up, clubs from across Europe could look to swoop in and sign the experienced goalkeeper in an effort to boost their own squads.

Now, Juventus have been linked with a move for David de Gea with the Italian outfit said to be in talks over a possible signing according to Tutto Mercato Web.

Juventus currently sit fifth in Serie A and could look to gain points in an effort to qualify for the UEFA Champions League in the closing stages of this season.

So far this campaign, the Old Lady has conceded 25 goals. Whilst this may appear to be a low figure, it is actually the highest of any team in the top six of Serie A.

Therefore, signing a goalkeeper such as David de Gea could be a smart move in improving the depth and quality of the Juventus squad.

Now, with links made between the goalkeeper and the Italian outfit, fans may look towards both parties to see if they can provide more clarity on the situation at hand.

Meanwhile, supporters could look in the coming months to see if more progress is made.
