Manchester United are looking to offload Jadon Sancho this summer, and Juventus could be a potential destination for the winger.
Ruben Amorim plans to revamp his attack and several intriguing names are already linked with moves to Old Trafford.
Matheus Cunha is already in the squad to fill a number 10 role, while a deal for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo is also being worked on.
The club’s plan is to move on players like Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Jadon Sancho to make room for new signings. All three have potential suitors, with the former Borussia Dortmund winger attracting interest from Serie A.
Returning to Old Trafford after a season-long loan at Chelsea, Sancho’s future looks likely to be away from Manchester.
Chelsea opted not to keep him on a permanent basis, even after his Europa Conference League final goal, choosing instead to pay the £5million penalty fee.
The two main potential suitors for the English winger are in Italy. Napoli showed interest earlier in the summer but now appear to be focusing on other targets. Juventus, meanwhile, have reignited the interest they first showed back in 2024, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Reports suggest that Sancho doesn’t rule out a move to Serie A. His representatives have reportedly maintained contact with Turin’s giants since their original approach.
Juventus know United want to sell, and while they are not planning a direct cash buy, a player swap deal could work for both sides. Reports suggest midfielder Douglas Luiz or striker Dusan Vlahovic could be part of an exchange – a move that stands apart from the usual loan-to-buy models United have pursued in the past.
Luiz joined Juventus from Aston Villa only last summer but has struggled to secure a regular place. Vlahovic, signed for £62million in 2022, is currently in a contract impasse and is open to a new challenge.
While Viktor Gyokeres and Hugo Ekitike are top targets, they come with high price tags, and Vlahovic offers a proven scorer with 98 goals over the past five seasons.
He may not have the same athletic profile as Gyokeres or Ekitike but remains an effective finisher with more to give at just 25.

Luiz, meanwhile, could be even more appealing considering United’s need for midfield depth. His Premier League experience at Aston Villa adds real value.
The Brazilian midfielder is versatile, capable of anchoring the midfield or posing a threat when pushing forward.
United were keen on him in January, but Juve wouldn’t deal at the time. Now that appears to have changed, swapping Sancho for Luiz could address multiple needs at once for Amorim—and possibly solve a transfer dilemma for both clubs.
