Juventus are reportedly working on a plan to extend the contract of head coach Igor Tudor, who will lead the team into the 2025-26 season as confirmed by new General Manager Damein Comolli earlier on Tuesday.

Comolli, speaking publicly for the first time since being appointed Bianconeri General Manager, confirmed that Tudor will be the Juventus head coach for the 2025-26 season.

Tudor joined Juve, initially on an interim basis, after the departure of Thiago Motta in March, and had his contract automatically extended for the 2025-26 season upon qualifying for the Champions League.

However, Juve also retained an option to terminate that agreement for a cost of €1m this summer.

Juventus work on Tudor contract extension

With Comolli having confirmed that Tudor will remain as Juventus head coach for 2025-26, the club are now working on an extension to the coach’s contract until the summer of 2027, according to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio.

Tuesday’s report claims that Tudor’s agent, Anthony Seric, will be in Turin on Wednesday to formalise an agreement.

The Bianconeri are keen to avoid starting a new situation with the head coach already entering the final year of his contract.
