Aside from Massimiliano Allegri, several Juventus players were criticised by sports papers on Monday, especially Filip Kostic and Weston McKennie, who ‘knows he will probably leave,’ wrote Gazzetta.

Juventus were held to a 1-1 draw by already relegated Salernitana on Sunday but still managed to qualify for the Champions League with two games to spare, thanks to Roma‘s loss to Atalanta.

La Gazzetta dello Sport harshly criticised the Bianconeri’s playing style and Massimiliano Allegri who was rated 4/10 by the pink paper and Tuttosport.

Several Juventus players were not up to the task against the Granata. McKennie and Kostic received the lowest ratings from Italian sports papers, but Dusan Vlahovic, Federico Gatti and Moise Kean were also highly disappointing.

According to Gazzetta, McKennie and Kostic were the worst Juventus players on Sunday, as they were both rated 4.5.

The American midfielder looked like a ‘stranger’ in the Juventus squad, wrote Sebastiano Vernazza, who also described the ex-Schalke man as ‘demotivated’ knowing that ‘he will probably leave’ at the end of the season.

McKennie’s contract expires in June 2025, but Juventus will put him on the market if he refuses to pen a new deal before the summer.

Kostic ‘struggled against Zanoli and Pierozzi’ and failed to put a single dangerous cross in, wrote Gazzetta.

Gatti looked ‘irritable’ while Kean didn’t even make a shot on target. Vlahovic was unlucky when he hit the crossbar in the first half but also missed a big chance from a Chiesa assist after the break.
