Multiple reports in Italy claim that Juventus have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig for Lois Openda, who is set to undergo a medical examination with the Bianconeri later today.

Juventus are ready to welcome Belgian striker Openda as the Bianconeri have reached an agreement with RB Leipzig for the 25-year-old.

Football Italia already reported earlier this month that Openda was one of Juventus’ primary targets had they failed to reach an agreement with PSG for Kolo Muani.

Openda set for Juventus transfer

Multiple sources, including Fabrizio Romano, Gazzetta and Sportitalia, now claim that the transfer package for Juventus is around €40m.

Openda is already travelling to Italy and is expected to undergo his medical tests in the early afternoon.

According to Gazzetta, Openda is expected to land at Turin’s Caselle Airport at around 12:30 local time (11:30 BST).

Openda is the second signing completed by the Bianconeri in the last 24 hours, as the Serie A giants had also reached an agreement to sign Edon Zhegrova from Lille.

The Bianconeri had previously completed just two signings this summer: Jonathan David on a free transfer and Joao Mario in a player plus cash swap deal from Porto FC.
