Juventus directors will reportedly meet with Kenan Yildiz’s entourage next week to discuss a contract extension, while Bayern Munich and Barcelona are the latest clubs to join the race for the Turkish talent.
Juventus are expected to meet Yildiz agents next week, as the Bianconeri are eager to offer their No. 10 a contract extension.
Several clubs, including Chelsea and Arsenal, have recently been linked with the Turkey international, whose family met agent Jorge Mendes in February to discuss a possible summer exit from Juventus.
Yildiz, however, has become a key player under Igor Tudor, and his excellent performances in the Club World Cup cemented his central role in the team.
According to Friday’s printed edition of Gazzetta, both Barcelona and Bayern Munich have shown interest in the 20-year-old in recent days, but Juventus will not listen to any offer and will instead open talks over a new deal.
As per Gazzetta, Barcelona could even offer long-time Juventus target Ronald Araujo in a possible swap deal for Yildiz, but the Bianconeri have clear ideas and want to tie down Yildiz to a new deal even if his current contract in Turin runs out in 2029.
