Massimiliano Allegri’s impact is already evident at Milan as the Rossoneri have won three consecutive matches without conceding, something they never achieved last season.
Milan have won the last three Serie A matches without conceding a single goal, an achievement they never accomplished last term under either Paulo Fonseca or Sergio Conceiçao.
The Rossoneri have earned nine points in the last three league games, scoring six goals and conceding none.
Allegri’s men reacted to a 2-1 loss against Cremonese in the opening Serie A round with victories against Lecce (0-2), Bologna (1-0) and Udinese (0-3).
As reported by TMW, they had never won three consecutive matches without conceding in 2024-25.
Allegri was serving a one-game ban against Udinese on Saturday, but the Italian tactician still passionately followed the game, as, according to TMW, he yelled at his players for some defensive movements even in the second half, when his men were comfortably leading 3-0.
Allegri has long built his reputation on ‘old school’ principles, such as tactical discipline and defensive organisation. This has proved to be a winning tactic in Serie A, where the least-beaten defence has won the title in 17 of the last 18 seasons.
