Lazio have announced that Fisayo Dele-Bashiru sustained a lesion to the femoral bicep in his right leg, while Nicolò Rovella is not going to have surgery.
The Aquile are still dealing with the fallout from the 1-0 Derby della Capitale defeat to rivals Roma, where they were forced into two substitutions during the first half.
They have now provided injury updates on those two setbacks.
Dele-Bashiru came off worse, as he has been diagnosed with a lesion to the femoral bicep in the right thigh.
The statement from the medical staff does not specify what grade the lesion is, nor how long he will be out of action for.
As for Rovella, he had already been in doubt for the match with a recurring groin issue, to the degree that it was reported he could be recommended surgery to get it resolved.
However, today’s statement insists only that he has already started the rehabilitation process, so Lazio will continue conservative treatment for now.
Meanwhile, Samuel Gigot, Manuel Lazzari and Matias Vecino are all continuing their rehabilitation work with the medical staff.
