Lazio have officially announced their permanent acquisition of centre-forward Andrea Pinamonti from Sassuolo.
“Lazio announced that it has acquired the sporting rights to the player Andrea Pinamonti on a permanent basis from Sasusolo,” read a brief statement on the Biancocelesti website on Thursday morning.
Recent reports from Gianluca Di Marzio indicate that the two clubs struck an agreement over a total package worth €12m with bonuses included.
Pinamonti has been handed the no.9 shirt for the 2026-27 season.
Pinamonti scored nine goals and provided three assists for his teammates with Sassuolo during the 2025-26 season. He had scored 10 goals from 36 appearances in Serie A while on loan with Genoa during the 2024-25 campaign.
With 11 goals from 38 appearances in the top flight during the 2023-24 campaign as well, the 27-year-old has averaged exactly 10 league goals per season over the last three campaigns.
He becomes Lazio’s fifth new first-team signing of the summer following the previous arrivals of Davide Frattesi, Josip Sutalo, Danilho Doekhi and Alfonso Pedraza.
