Leeds United and Everton will kick off their 2025/26 season later this round. On Monday, August 18, the two sides go head-to-head at Elland Road in Leeds, in the final match of the opening round. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET. While both teams have strengthened, Everton arrives with the stronger squad and the more impressive summer transfer window additions.

Everton will not debut in their new stadium just yet. Fans said farewell to Goodison Park last season, and now the Hill Dickinson Stadium is set to become their new home.
