
Liverpool will play away from home in the Premier League at Elland Road against Leeds United. During mid-week, the Reds dropped points once again in the league while Leeds United pulled a huge win over one of the top teams in the league.
Liverpool is currently 9th in the Premier League table with 22 points, while Leeds United sits 17th in the table with 14 points. Both teams are separated by eight points and are seven positions apart.
In their previous Premier League match, Leeds United defeated Chelsea 3-1 at Elland Road to end a four-game losing streak.
Jaka Bijol and Ao Tanaka scored the first two goals for Leeds United to give them a 2-0 lead at halftime. Chelsea's Pedro Neto scored one back for Chelsea, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored Leeds' third goal to make it 3-1.
Liverpool's previous match in the league was a 1-1 draw against Sunderland at Anfield. It was Liverpool's first draw in the Premier League this season.
Sunderland took the lead in the 67th minute through a goal from Chemsdine Talbi, but a deflected shot by Florian Wirtz led to an own goal by Nordi Mukiele to give Liverpool the equalizer in the 81st minute.
Leeds United vs Liverpool will kick off at 12:30 p.m. ET/ 9:30 a.m. PT in the United States. The match will kick off at 5:30 p.m. local time in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, at Elland Road.
