Leeds United hosts Manchester City for the Premier League week 28 matchup at the Elland Road stadium on Saturday, February 28.

Leeds will enter the game on Saturday in a confident mood after a solid performance during their 1-1 draw against Aston Villa last weekend. Before that, the Whites cruised past Birmingham City in the FA Cup. Daniel Farke's men have won 2, drawn 2, and lost 1 game across all competitions.

Man City is also coming off a strong run, after a dominant 2-1 win vs. Newcastle United in the Premier League. Prior to that, the Citizen beat Salford 2-0 in the FA Cup. Pep Guardiola's side is currently on a 5-game winning streak across all competitions.

How & Where to Watch Leeds United vs. Manchester City

Leeds will face Man City at Elland Road on Saturday, February 28. The match is scheduled to kick off at 12.30 p.m. EST (5:30 p.m. GMT).

The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, TNT Sports, and Peacock. Fans can also stream the game live on FuboCanada, JioHotstar, and Stan Sports.

Injuries

Daniel Farke's side is set to be without Noah Okafor, who's sidelined with a hamstring injury. Gabriel Gudmundsson is back from his illness after being subbed off at halftime during the 1-1 draw vs. Aston Villa.

Pep Guardiola will have a major test on his hands, with multiple first-team options missing on Saturday. Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic are both sidelined with injuries and will miss the clash vs. Leeds. Belgium winger Jeremy Doku was out with a calf injury and is doubtful for Saturday's clash. Max Alleyne missed last week's matchup against Newcastle United and is doubtful for this weekend's game as well.

Man City:

  • Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Donnarumma

Prediction

Guardiola's Man City holds the upper hand in this matchup against Farke's Leeds. In the last five meetings between the two teams, City has registered five strong victories. Both teams last met in the reverse fixture in November 2025, when Man City beat Leeds 3-2.

Given the club's red-hot form, City head into the clash as the favourites against Leeds. Haaland and Co. are expected to extend their winning streak with another strong showing against the Whites. City is currently sitting second in the Premier League table with 56 points in 27 games, and a win at Elland Road on Saturday would move the Citizens closer to league leader Arsenal, who hold a four-point advantage at the top.

Leeds, on the other hand, is currently sitting fifteenth in the Premier League table with 31 points in 27 games. The Whites' campaign has lacked consistency, reflected in their mid-table standing. Farke's men would look to hold off City's lethal offense and scrape at least one point with a draw in Saturday's game. However, a loss today could prove costly for the team at this stage.
