Liverpool have won the league and everyone’s celebrating but one question remains, where will Trent Alexander-Arnold be playing next season?
Taking to Instagram, Linda Pizzuti Henry celebrated the title success with several pictures from the day and the caption:

It was a lovely message from the wife of John Henry and included in the images was one of the American businessman with our right back, which wasn’t missed by many supporters.
One person replied to the post by writing: ‘Just throwing in that Trent photo
’ and the response from the 46-year-old was a simple: ‘
’.
As always, we don’t know what all this means but it doesn’t feel like a comment that the wife of our owner would make with regards to a player who’s about to leave on a free transfer.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is keeping all Liverpool fans guessing
Lip readers have been deployed to try and decipher what the on-field discussion entailed between player and owner, with many having their own take on the events.

Premier League side pondering major hijack of Chelsea transfer deal that would cause stir
There is a Premier League side who are apparently contemplating hijacking a major Chelsea transfer deal this summer window. We haven’t got long left now as we go into the final weeks of the window, but this one could cause a real stir should it happen and we can expect drama either way. To be honest, I am absolutely bored to death of the Xavi Simons to Chelsea transfer saga now and I’m well and truly over it! But it is still ongoing. Sky Germany were even reporting on this morning saying it’s still on and the player is waiting on Chelsea blah blah blah and all the other recycled info we keep hearing about. And Fabrizio Romano had his regular update on Simons to Chelsea yesterday afternoon and confirms that a deal for him to join Chelsea is still very much on. Probably going to go down to transfer deadline day now isn’t it this one? Well, I guess it will be good for the clicks and the media! City in for Simons? According to talkSPORT this afternoon, Manchester City are contemplating a stunning hijack of Chelsea’s proposed deal for Xavi Simons. They claim that whilst Simons has agreed personal terms with Chelsea, there is no agreement yet on the fee between clubs. City’s interest is just that for now apparently but if they can sell some more players then they are weighing up a move for Simons. Chelsea playing the waiting game It’s obviously all a tactical game for Chelsea as they just keep waiting and holding out so they can pay a fee that they went to pay I’d imagine. They aren’t just going to pay up what a club is asking so it looks like they’re trying to be firm in negotiations.
Jon Gruden 'looking forward to having the truth come out' amid lawsuit against NFL
Jon Gruden sent another warning shot toward the NFL after scoring a major win in court. On Tuesday, Gruden welcomed a ruling that will force the NFL to litigate the circumstances of his firing in court rather than closed-door arbitration. The former Las Vegas Raiders coach made it clear that he intends to continue his legal challenge to the NFL, ensuring that they are held accountable. “I’m looking forward to having the truth come out, and I want to make sure what happened to me doesn’t happen to anyone else,” Gruden said in a statement provided to ESPN’s Don Van Natta Jr. “The league’s actions disrupted the whole season. We were leading the division at the time and they completely blindsided me and the team.” The Raiders were 3-1 in 2021 when Gruden was forced to resign after offensive emails he had sent between 2011 and 2018 were leaked. Gruden has alleged that the NFL leaked the emails to force him out of a job after obtaining them during an investigation into the Washington Commanders. The NFL is set to appeal Monday’s ruling, but if that appeal fails, the league may be forced into public discovery. One alternative would be to offer Gruden a settlement, but he has not said whether or not he would be interested in such a resolution. Gruden has not held an NFL coaching job since the Raiders forced him out. He has recently spoken about possibly making a return to coaching at the college level.
Oregon suspends former five-star WR recruit indefinitely
Oregon wide receiver Jurrion Dickey has struggled to live up to expectations in his first two seasons with the Ducks, and he is now in a terrible position heading into 2025 as well. Dickey has been suspended indefinitely by Oregon, head coach Dan Lanning announced on Tuesday. Lanning also suggested that Dickey may not play for the Ducks again. "We have two team rules; that’s respectful, be on time,” Lanning said, via James Crepea of The Oregonian. “There’s some pieces of that where I felt like he needed a break from us and we needed a break from that so we could focus on what’s in front of us right now. "Wishing him nothing but the best, as far as success and want to see him get back to where he can be a contributor somewhere; that might be here that might be somewhere else.” Dickey was a five-star recruit and rated as one of the top wide receivers in the country when he came out of Menlo-Atherton High School in Atherton, Calif., in 2023. He suffered an injury in his senior year in high school and redshirted as a freshman at Oregon. Dickey has two catches for 14 years during his time with the Ducks. Oregon went 13-1 in Lanning's third season with the program last season. The Ducks lost to eventual national champion Ohio State in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals.
Mike Vrabel raises eyebrows with cryptic comment on Stefon Diggs
New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel raised some questions Monday with his cryptic comment about wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Diggs did not play in Friday’s preseason opener against the Washington Commanders, but the move did not attract much attention. Diggs is still coming back from a torn ACL, and the presumption was that the Patriots were not yet ready to risk the wide receiver in game action. Vrabel, however, opened the door to more speculation when asked about Diggs’ absence Monday on WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show.” “Coach’s decision,” Vrabel said, via Karen Guregian of MassLive. Diggs appeared to be on shaky footing with the Patriots in May, when he was filmed flashing a pink substance on a party boat. Vrabel indicated he was not thrilled with Diggs after that, but those negative feelings seemed to have faded within a few weeks. Diggs was a full participant in Monday’s practice, so there does not appear to be a new injury in play. Realistically, this is probably nothing, but considering the earlier controversy with Diggs, Vrabel’s answer will raise some eyebrows. The Patriots signed Diggs to a three-year, $63.5 million contract in March, hoping he would provide a veteran weapon for QB Drake Maye.
