Liverpool will have a new chief executive officer next month.
According to Reuters (h/t ESPN), Liverpool's CEO Peter Moore will step down at the end of August after three years in the role.
Liverpool owner John Henry, chairman Tom Werner and president Mike Gordon said in a statement that the Moore helped the club immensely since 2017.
Peter Moore will step down as chief executive officer at the end of August, following a successful three-year contract overseeing #LFC's off-pitch business operations.

Billy Hogan, currently managing director and chief commercial officer, will assume the role from September 1.
Moore is returning to the United States where he worked for Sega, Reebok, Microsoft and EA before joining Liverpool.
Managing director Billy Hogan will replace Moore at the beginning of September. Hogan has played a major role in changing Liverpool's commercial fortunes under Fenway Sports Group and negotiated the new kit deal with Nike that begins on Saturday.
Liverpool won their first Premier League title in 30 years this season after going 32-3-3 with 99 points.
