Liverpool join battle for Lille defender Yoro

Liverpool have joined the race to sign a talented youngster from French side Lille.

The Reds are said to be among several top European teams chasing after Leny Yoro, says Le Parisien.

The 18-year-old defender has been hugely impressive in the league for his club this season.

Yoro is being linked to teams such as the Reds, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain.

While he is still seen as very raw, Liverpool may be ready to take a chance on him.

With the future of veteran defender Virgil Van Dijk uncertain, Yoro may be the ideal replacement.
