The game of the Premier League weekend is Liverpool vs Manchester United at Anfield. Both teams are in desperate need of points in order to climb the table.

Liverpool is five points above Manchester United in the Premier League table, with the Reds sitting third with 15 points while Man United are on 10 points in 11th.

Liverpool lost their last three games across all competitions before the international break and will need a win to continue in the fight for the top positions since Manchester City and Arsenal are currently above them after their wins yesterday.

Man United won their previous league game before the international break and will look to pick up back-to-back wins in the Premier League under Ruben Amorim. The Red Devils have a great opportunity to not only get closer to Liverpool but to leap many teams in the Premier League table.

The last time both teams played each other in the league was in January this year, which was part of last season. Liverpool and Man United drew 2-2 at Anfield; the goal scorers for Liverpool were Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah, and Man United's goal scorers were Lisandro Martinez and Amad Diallo.
