Atalanta star Ademola Lookman resumed training with the rest of the team after a meeting with coach Ivan Juric on Thursday morning.
Multiple sources in Italy, including Gazzetta, claim that Lookman resumed training with the rest of the Atalanta squad today, Thursday, September 18.
The Nigerian forward was frozen out of the team in August, having pushed to join Atalanta’s domestic rivals Inter.
According to reports, Lookman had a chat with coach Juric before today’s training session and also spoke to his teammates, explaining that he had had a tough summer but insisting that he’s now ready and motivated to help the team this season.
Lookman has yet to make his first competitive appearance with La Dea this season, but according to reports, he could be available for the next Serie A match against Torino.
Atalanta returned to training today after a heavy 4-0 loss against PSG in their Champions League opener on Wednesday night.
