Schmeichel states that he wanted Arsenal to lose the game and believes that Arteta is not letting his team play football. He was upset with Arsenal at halftime and after the match, but his words after the final whistle were more aimed towards Arteta.

Let your team play football! Let them loose, let them be free! I am absolutely convinced that if Arteta does this, they will win more games."

After Peter Schmeichel's words suggesting that Arsenal were not fighting for a win at Anfield, Mikel Arteta insists his game plan was with the intention to win the match.
