Man United striker Rasmus Hojlund reportedly will not join Inter Milan this summer, but Roma are keen on his signature.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

For several weeks, Inter Milan had shown an interest in Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund.

The Dane has not had an easy go of it in the Premier League after joining United from Atalanta in 2023.

Nevertheless, Inter still back Hojlund based on his time at La Dea.

Moreover, the Nerazzurri are focusing on signing younger players this summer. Therefore, the 22-year-old Hojlund looked like a fairly natural target in attack.

However, the situation has changed at Inter as far as their strategy in attack goes.

Most notably, the Nerazzurri have decided that striker Francesco Pio Esposito is ready to step into the limelight. The 20-year-old will be part of the senior squad next season.

Therefore, Inter have little need for a player with Hojlund’s profile.

On the other hand, though, the 22-year-old could still be in for a return to Serie A.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, Roma have shown an interest in Hojlund.

Considering the Danish international had really flourished under coach Gian Piero Gasperini at Atalanta, the Giallorossi are hoping that the same can happen in the Italian capital.
