While Osimhen’s name continues to come up as a potential signing for PSG, some voices are beginning to question the necessity of such a move. That includes Bruno Satin, the former agent of Kalidou Koulibaly and now an analyst, who believes the Nigerian striker’s arrival at PSG could disrupt the balance established by Luis Enrique.
“Osimhen? I don’t know if PSG can count on him,” Satin told Kiss Kiss Napoli (h/t Le10Sport). “Luis Enrique’s first choice isn’t to have a traditional striker; he always prefers to use Dembélé as a ‘false nine.’ Signing Victor would make him a starter, which could complicate the mechanisms already in place with the Frenchman.”
Fabrizio Romano reported this week that Galatasaray turned down Napoli’s latest offer for a deal involving Osimhen, though negotiations could pick back up if the terms shift again.
Napoli are demanding €40 million upfront, another €35 million by 2026, and a sell-on clause. Galatasaray, on the other hand, are only willing to pay €35 million by 2027 and don’t want to include a sell-on clause in the deal.
