Manchester City vs Bournemouth is one of the closest matchups of this Premier League matchweek as the two are only two points apart in the league table.

Man City will host Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium today. Man City and Bournemouth have five wins in the Premier League, but the Cherries are the ones who have only lost once this season.

In their previous Premier League match, Man City suffered their third league loss of the season, after losing 1-0 to Aston Villa away from home. The loss has put them 7th in the league with a record of five wins, one draw, and three losses and the team has 16 points.

Manchester City played in the EFL Cup mid-week, and they advanced to the next round after beating Swansea City 3-1 away from home with goals from Jeremy Doku, Omar Marmoush, and Rayan Cherki.

Bournemouth is undefeated in their last eight matches in the Premier League and they sit seocnd with 18 points. Their record in the Premier League is five wins, three draws, and one loss.

Bournemouth's previous match in the league was a 2-0 home win against Nottingham Forest. In their last two away games in the league, Bournemouth drew 2-2 against Leeds United and drew 3-3 against Crystal Palace.
