Manchester City vs. Exeter City lineups, FA Cup preview

The FA Cup returns, and the tournament is currently in Round 3, where Manchester City will host Exeter City at the Etihad Stadium.

Exeter City is from League One, the third tier of English football, and currently sit 14th in the League One table. Exeter City's record in League One is nine wins, three draws and losses and are currently on 30 points.

The League One team reached Round 3 of the FA Cup by beating Wycombe Wanderers 4-0 in Round 2 with goals from Jack Aitchison, who scored two, Akeel Higgins and Jayden Wareham.

Manchester City is second in the Premier League with 43 points and has a record of 13 wins, four draws and four losses.

Manchester City have three draws in a row in the Premier League, including a 1-1 draw with Brighton over the weekend at home. Erling Haaland scored from the penalty spot, but Kaoru Mitoma scored the equalizer for Brighton.

This is Manchester City's first appearance in this season's FA Cup.
