
Following the March international break, the FA Cup quarter-finals will be played this weekend, and Manchester City will host Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium.
Both teams reached this stage of the FA Cup after winning their respective Round 5 matches of the FA Cup last month.
Manchester City eliminated Newcastle United by beating them 1-3 away from home with goals from Savinho and two goals from Omar Marmoush. Liverpool defeated Wolves 1-3 away from home with goals from Andy Robertson, Mohamed Salah, and Curtis Jones.
In their previous match before the international break, Manchester City won the EFL Cup by beating Arsenal 2-0 at Wembley Stadium. Liverpool lost 2-1 to Brighton in the Premier League away from home.
Manchester City and Liverpool will face each other for the third time this season. In their last matchup, Man City defeated Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield with a late penalty kick from Erling Haaland.

Manchester City vs Liverpool will kick off at 7:45 a.m. ET/ 4:45 a.m. PT in the United States. The match will kick off at 12:45 p.m. local time at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, England.
