Manchester United 2026/27 away kit leaked

Along with the excitement and expectation for the season itself, anticipation grows for the release of the Manchester United kit for the season ahead.

Fans discuss potential designs and colourways that manufacturer Adidas may use and reminisce about kits of previous seasons that they hope could be reimagined.

Even this season, we have seen similarities in the away kit to the iconic shirt worn by the likes of Eric Cantona during the 1990s, adapted to a more modern design.

It looks as though Adidas have gone down a similar route ahead of next season, with leaks appearing on social media of what is suggested to be the Manchester United away kit, and a return to blue in the process.

The away kit for next season, just like the home shirt, has been leaked by FootyHeadlines on social media platform X.

The primary colour is royal blue, similar to the strips worn in the late 1980s by players such as Bryan Robson and Norman Whiteside.

The Adidas trefoil also returns, with red and white trimmings on the collar and shirt sleeves to create a contrast against the dark blue.

The Snapdragon sponsor also appears in white, with the logo now being a part of the design and its colour being adapted to the needs of the kit, as opposed to previous sponsors such as Chevrolet.

While Manchester United have had a number of blue kits in previous years, including last season, the combination of both red and blue on the same jersey happens much less often, with the last instance of this being 2016-17.

This is an attempt to continue with modern designs that not only look the part but also call back to significant times within the club’s history.

If the kit is to fully resemble those of the past, we can expect both the shorts and socks to be the same colour.
