Manchester United have seen one of their attackers recognised at Premier League level following an impressive run of form during March.
The club have placed increased emphasis on development in recent seasons, with emerging talents continuing to push through the ranks and make an impact across multiple competitions.
This recognition also comes in a campaign where individual performances across the club have stood out.
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes recently claimed the Premier League Player of the Month award for March.
Cameroonian winger Bryan Mbeumo, who joined Manchester United from Brentford in the summer, won the award for October 2025.
The Premier League have confirmed on their website that 19-year-old forward Victor Musa has been shortlisted for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for March 2026.
Musa’s inclusion follows a standout month.
The Manchester United Under-21 attacker scored three goals across four league appearances, including a crucial brace in a 2-1 victory over Southampton.
He scored another goal in a narrow win against Reading.
His performances have come at a key stage of the season, with United’s youth side pushing for strong momentum heading into the end-of-season play-offs.
Musa featured consistently throughout March, missing only a handful of minutes across the fixtures, underlining his growing importance within the squad.
All the nominees were selected by the Football Development Panel, who will decide the winner later this week.
Musa’s development has been closely monitored internally.
He is among the youth players who have earned opportunities to train with the first-team squad this season.
While competition for attacking places remains high, his recent forms suggests he is beginning to establish himself as one of the more consistent performers at academy level.
The nomination represents another positive step in his progression.
The Red Devils are continuing to benefit from a pipeline of young talent capable of delivering tangible output.
Should Victor Musa claim the award, he would follow a growing list of emerging players making their mark in Premier League 2 this season, further strengthening the club’s reputation for developing attacking prospects.
