The summer transfer window is just around the corner and already clubs are setting their plans to recruit reinforcements.
It’s widely know that Manchester United are looking to strengthen their midfield and left-wing this summer, with a host of top talents on their shortlist.
However, The Red Devils also have alot of talent in their academy ranks with the Under-21s and Under-18s thriving as always with stars keen to break through to the senior squad.
Already youngsters like Shea Lacey and JJ Gabriel are making names for themselves, however another of United’s talented teenagers has just signed to a new agency.
Taking to their Instagram page, Triple S Sports has announced the signing of Kai Rooney to their agency.
In their social media post, the agency commented: “Delighted to announce the signing of @kairooney.10 to Triple S Sports!
“We’re excited to begin working with the Manchester United forward as he continues his journey in the game. A bright future ahead.
“Welcome to the team, Kai!”
Currently in the Under-18s, Kai Rooney is the son of Manchester United legend and all-time top goalscorer Wayne Rooney.
However, the 16-year-old has already started to show promise of following in his father’s footsteps.
Despite missing most of the season through injury, the attacker has scored a goal and grabbed an assist in six games, having only had a total of 112 minutes on the pitch so far.
Last month it was reported that the right-winger had been offered a formal one-year scholarship with United to start in the summer when he finishes school.
At the end of the scholarship, it would then become a three-year professional contract, seeing him earn £50,000 per year, with an annual signing-on fee included.
Now, with the signing to a new agency, it could be that he’s joined Triple S Sports to help negotiate the terms as he enters the world of professional contracts.
