Manchester United launch club investigation to find mole

Manchester United face interim manager Michael Carrick the perfect start to his time as interim manager.

However, there was one negative that surrounded the victory.

The Sun have reported that Manchester United have began an investigation to find a mole.

This comes after it was reported that the Starting 11 was leaked hours before the start of the Manchester Derby.

SunSport are said to have obtained the starting lineup, to the annoyance of Man United.

Football teams are bound by strict rules, with team news often announced exactly an hour before the game starts.

Whether this is Premier League or Champions League games, or FA Cup ties, it is beyond rare for team news to be announced any time before this.

This is a stark contrast to sports such as rugby, where team news is announced many days before.

Jose Mourinho did once announce the team news in a press conference the day before, but this was a rare occurrence.

With the risk of injuries, or revealing a game plan prematurely by virtue of the lineup and formation, teams often refrain from announced lineups early and “showing their hand”.

For Man United, they face Arsenal away from home in their next game, taking place on Sunday afternoon.

They will hope that there is not another team leak in the hours leading up to this game.
