Manchester United have been known to have developed some of football’s most talented players throughout their history.

United’s Class of 92 are the most famous example, with the likes of David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and both Gary and Phil Neville coming through the ranks.

They would go on to be part of a Premier League dynasty under Sir Alex Ferguson, with double digit Premier League titles for the majority of these players, along with multiple FA Cups and at least one Champions League.

All of these players were part of the side that beat Bayern Munich in the 1999 Champions League final at Barcelona’s Nou Camp.

This final win, coincided with a Premier League title and FA Cup, saw United achieve a unprecedented treble.

Such an achievement had never been done in England before, with only Manchester City achieving it since.

United have also seen the likes of Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho develop through the youth team, although they had less fond farewells.

Going further back, the likes of George Best and Sir Bobby Charlton progress in the youth ranks, and this has been United’s DNA ever since.

United are hopefully over current youngster JJ Gabriel but they could be about to welcome another youngster tot their ranks

The Manchester Evening News have reported that Man United have made an offer for Sheffield Wednesday defender Yisa Alao.

After making their first team debut for the Owls last month, Alao has drawn the attention from several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Liverpool.

United have also expressed their interest, with a bid made for the 17-year old.

With Wednesday struggling financially, the sale of Yisa Alao may be for the benefit of the club long term, despite the possibility of losing a future prospect.

This was confirmed by manager Henrik Pederson.

“There has to be something. I think we need to do something,

“But of course I want to keep our players with the squad we have now.

For Yisa, he’s a special boy because he’s one of our own. Of course we want to keep our biggest assets in the club.”
