According to Sky Italy, Jadon Sancho has given the green light to a potential move to Napoli this summer, but there are still a couple of obstacles to clear.

One sticking point is reportedly Manchester United’s asking price, which Napoli consider too steep—especially with Sancho’s contract set to expire in 2026. Additionally, Napoli are said to be exploring other options, including Bologna winger Dan Ndoye.

ESPN reported, citing a source, that Chelsea would have to pay a £5 million ($6.7 million) penalty to break their original loan agreement with Manchester United, which included an obligation to buy Jadon Sancho for around £25 million.

The outlet also reported that Chelsea asked Sancho to accept a significant pay cut—he currently earns over £300,000 a week—to fit within the wage structure at Stamford Bridge, but talks broke down.
