Manchester United player Caitlin Driver has shared her England call-up letter as she revealed the news of her call-up to the England Under-15s squad on Instagram.

The letter, signed by The FA’s Women’s Technical Director Gavin Step, reads: “You’ve earned your place among the very best in your age group. Only the most talented players are selected to play for their country, so you and your family should take pride in your call-up.”

Later, it reads: “On behalf of everyone at The FA, we wish you the very best of luck for this camp and the promising future you have ahead in football. Embrace the challenge, enjoy the moment, and show us what you can do.”

Driver has been progressing through the Manchester United academy since she joined it last year and looks set to continue her journey in the Under-16s Pro Academy Squad for the 2026-27 season.

Her selection for England’s latest Under-15s camp represents an opportunity for her to showcase her talent amongst some of the very best of her age and could be an opportunity for her to catch the attention of the coaches who will be present at the camp.

Should she embrace the camp, Caitlin Driver may be able to improve her skills as she progresses towards the 2026-27 campaign.

Improving her skills, whilst also gaining more experience, could help her as she also looks to develop through the academy and potentially towards higher levels of women’s football.

This is not the first time that Manchester United players have been selected for their country, especially England, with Ella Toone, Grace Clinton, and Maya Le Tissier all playing a part in England Women’s European Championship victory last summer.

With Driver potentially aiming for similar heights, focus will now switch towards further updates about the camp, from either England Women or Caitlin Driver, as Manchester United supporters look to see if it was successful for her in her aims for success.

Supporters may also choose to look towards Manchester United to see if any club media coverage is given to the announcement.
