Manchester United set to sign Liverpool winger

Manchester United are continuing to develop their squad this summer as they look to rebuild under Michael Carrick.

The former Manchester United midfielder has earned his place as the next permanent manager after returning the club to the Champions League, now preparing for next season.

Already The Red Devils have signed Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans and Karl Darlow, having snapped up the trio for a combined £85 million.

The three arrive with a wealth of Premier League experience, something that the INEOS regime at Old Trafford have clearly been prioritising, with the signings of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo last summer.

Now, United have gone to local rivals Manchester City and Liverpool, agreeing moves for a further three players, this time for the United academy.

Earlier today it was confirmed that United have won the race for David Eze and Karim Cassim from Manchester City, with the pair set ot join United’s Under-18s side.

Joining them however, will be Liverpool’s young winger Isaac Konde, as reported by Talent ID Hub on X.

While Konde is naturally a left-winger, his versatility has shone recently, being able to play on the opposite flank as well.

The 16-year-old has started to break into Liverpool’s Under-18s side, having made six appearances at the end of last season, gaining 197 minutes of game time, and grabbing his first assist for the side against Sunderland.

Now, he’s a name that Manchester United fans will get used to as he joins the already impressive talent pool in the United academy.
