Amid ongoing rumors and Rashford’s inconsistent form since the 2022-23 season, former Wales striker Rob Earnshaw has voiced concern about the Manchester United star’s future, pointing to his struggles in 2024.
“I think Manchester United will be looking to sell Marcus Rashford,” Earnshaw told Sky Sports (h/t The Mirror). “Based on form, based on I think over the last year or so, he’s gone from number one on the teamsheet, top England player, to ‘is he going to even start for Manchester United?’ and he’s nowhere near starting for England.
“[United] are going to have a big problem. They’re probably going to have two transfer windows to look at how does Marcus Rashford fit in for Ruben Amorim. The problem they’ll have is that I think, to be honest with you, he’s underperforming.”
Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly submitted their first bid for Marcus Rashford. While Manchester United might be open to selling their academy graduate in the January transfer window, Fichajes claims that PSG’s £75 million offer falls short of United’s valuation for the forward.
