Manchester United are just six games into their new season, but much attention is already being focused on the 2027/28 season.

United released their home kit for this campaign at the end of last season, with it making its debut against Nottingham Forest before also being worn against Brighton and Hove Albion.

The club’s away and third kits would follow over the summer too, both making their debuts during pre-season.

Details about United’s home kit for next season were leaked last week as reports claimed that the kit would feature references to Manchester’s industrial roots whilst also being red, as expected.

Further reports suggested that the club were also planning on releasing a special all-black version of the kit to supporters, with both kits set to be released next summer.

Footy Headlines have now confirmed more details about Manchester United’s kit plans for next season with them saying that Adidas will release a special all-red version of Manchester United’s 2027/28 home kit.

The publication have said that the kit will feature the same design and template that was outlined in United’s original home kit, and will be released next summer.

It is United’s third different home kit design last season, a signal of the club’s work to widen its range and offer multiple options to buying supporters.

No official confirmation has arrived from the Red Devils about their plans for next season, in relation to the home, away, and third kits, although it is likely that the club will confirm more details about their actions in the coming months.

United’s intent to plan and design their kits so early follows a trend existing across the entire football industry relating to kits, whilst subsequently signalling at the club’s forward-thinking approach, an approach that helps to ensure the side remains as one of England’s best.
