Manchester United are active in the transfer market, being linked with and making a number of signings that aim to improve the squad.

Andrey Santos signed for the club at the start of the week, shortly followed by Karl Dalow and Youri Tielemans.

Cristian Orozco also completed his transfer to United, having turned 18 on Monday. Away from completed deals, the Red Devils continue to be linked with a number of players.

The club remain in pole position to sign Yan Diomande whilst links to Manu Kone continue to flourish as the window progress.

Away from the transfer market, Michael Carrick’s men are about to begin a series of pre-season fixtures in preparation for the upcoming season.

Wrexham are the side’s first opponents, with the game due to take place tomorrow, whilst games against Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint Germain, and Leeds United are also due to be played.

Whilst Carrick continues to prepare his men, Marc Skinner is also preparing Manchester United Women for the upcoming Women’s Super League.

Now, new details have emerged about the side’s pre-season schedule.

As announced on Manchester United’s official website, Skinner’s side will travel to Spain for a pre-season camp forming part of the team’s preparations for next season.

The trip, scheduled between Friday 14 August to Wednesday 19 August, will see the side train in the country whilst also seeing the team face Women’s Super League 2 side Newcastle United in a behind-closed-doors fixture.

Marc Skinner’s side will return to England just over two weeks before the new Women’s Super League season starts, between Friday 4 September and Sunday 6 September.

Manchester United Women finished fourth in the league last season, missing out on qualification for the Women’s Champions League by nine points.

The side also lost the Women’s League Cup final against Chelsea and were knocked out of the Women’s FA Cup by the Blues.

The upcoming campaign, therefore, offers Marc Skinner’s side a chance to improve and progress even further.
