Ben Lyne scored the equaliser for Manchester United, registering his fourth goal of the tournament.

Neither side could find a winner before the final moved to penalties.

United then delivered from the spot to secure the trophy and complete a memorable tournament in Northern Ireland.

The SuperCupNI is one of the best-known youth football competitions in the world.

It regularly attracts leading academies and youth teams from different countries, giving emerging players the chance to face strong international opposition.

This is Manchester United’s second SuperCupNI success of the summer after the Under-14 girls won the Girls Junior competition.
