The Champions League will see Liverpool play in France against Olympique Marseille today. Both teams are three points apart, with a hope of securing a top-eight position ahead of the final matchday next week.

Liverpool is 11th in the Champions League table with 12 points, boasting a record of four wins, zero draws, and two losses. Marseille is 16th with nine points and has a record of three wins, zero draws, and three losses.

In their previous Champions League match, Liverpool defeated Inter Milan 1-0 at the San Siro with a late penalty goal scored by Dominik Szoboszlai.

Over the weekend, Liverpool drew 1-1 with Burnley at Anfield in the Premier League. Florian Wirtz scored for the Reds, but Marcus Edwards scored the equalizer for Burnley.

Marseille's previous Champions League match was a 3-2 win away from home against Union St. Gilloise. Igor Paixao and two goals from Mason Greenwood scored in their last UCL match.

Over the weekend, Marseille defeated Angers 5-2 away from home in Ligue 1 with goals from Amine Gouiri, Mason Greenwood, Hamed Traore, Timothy Weah, and Igor Paixao.
