Tottenham Hotspur has four Premier League games before the end of the season. They are currently in the relegation zone, and relegation from the Premier League is a real possibility.

Spurs will be playing Aston Villa away from home this weekend, and the pressure will grow if the team cannot win the next games.

On the latest episode of The Overlap, current USMNT head coach and former Tottenham Hotspur manager Marucio Pochettino joined the table with Gary Neville, Jill Scott, Roy Keane, and Ian Wright.

The former Tottenham Hotspur manager was asked about many topics, including his time with Spurs, where he coached for nearly six years.

Pochettino's time at Spurs was highly praised as they were close to winning the Premier League title and reached a Champions League Final in 2019.

When reflecting on his time with the club, Pochettino was asked about the current situation at the club, where they are fighting to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Pochettino did not want to talk about the current situation but reflected on the good times he had at the club.

Pochettino said, "It's really sad. I really love Tottenham, and they will always be a part of my life, an important part of my life as a coach and my personal life too. I know the people are suffering there, inside the club, and the fans. It's difficult to accept."

After quickly talking about the current situation, Mauricio Pochettino reflected on his time at Tottenham Hotspur.

Pochettino explained his vision for the club and felt his team was very competitive on the pitch.

Pochettino said, "We were winning every season because with all the circumstances we were fighting, we spent 18 months with no signing. That was a record in the Premier League."

They discussed Pochettino and Spurs being close to winning trophies and needing a few more signings to help the team reach the next level and win titles like the league or the FA Cup.

When Gary Neville told Pochettino that many fans believed that the board needed to back him with money for transfers, Pochettino talked about squad building being an issue.

Pcochttino said, "Sometimes it's money, and sometimes it's hard decisions...You can add and add [players], but if you don't remove [players], that makes it impossible to improve or increase the level. I think that for me, is the key in all projects of a club."
