'Maybe Chelsea…' – Pundit hints that Blues fans could get dream manager move this summer

Cesc Fabregas is being linked with all manner of clubs this summer, and one pundit has put Chelsea in the mix.

The summer hasn’t arrived yet but there’s already a lot of talk about manager changes. It’s set to be one of those years where a lot of big teams shuffle their coaches around, and nobody is yet sure if Chelsea will be in that group.

If the Blues do decide to get rid of Liam Rosenior, there will be one man heavily favoured to replace him. Cesc Fabregas is doing a phenomenal job at Como, getting the Italian minnows to the cusp of the Champions League shortly after getting them promoted to Serie A.

Serie A pundit name checks Chelsea as potential destination

One man fanning the flames is Massimo Ambrosini. The Serie A pundit was very open about the fact that Fabregas could move on to bigger things this summer.

“Of course Barcelona would be, could be, a good choice. I don’t know about Real Madrid, because Real is a strange situation. But maybe Chelsea. Chelsea had a good manager because Enzo Maresca was a good manager. I don’t know what happened, but Enzo is a good manager. I’m not sure Cesc will leave the Italian league. No rush.”

It would certainly be hard for any Chelsea fan to not be into the idea of Fabregas coming to the club, as a popular former player and rising star in the dugout.

Cole Palmer’s form is becoming a serious issue for Chelsea now – it’s more than a year since he really looked at his best.

Enzo Fernandez is being more and more strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid, although his personality is apparently an issue.
