Weston McKennie’s father hints that his son won’t necessarily leave Juventus at the end of his contract in June: ‘Stop with this clickbait BS!’
Weston McKennie’s father John suggests that his son’s future at Juventus hasn’t yet been determined.
The American midfielder’s contract expires at the end of the season, and according to Sky Sport Italia, the Bianconeri are unwilling to offer him a new deal.
Previous reports suggested that the two parties were unable to reach an agreement due to agent fees, but the player’s representative has already denied this.
Now, the midfielder’s father has also denied that McKennie’s Juventus exit in the summer has already been decided.
John McKennie responded angrily to an X post about the matter, writing: “Stop with this click bate BS!”
McKennie has become a regular Juventus starter under Luciano Spalletti, scoring three goals and providing three assists in 14 appearances under the Italian tactician.
McKennie joined Juventus from Schalke 04 in 2020 and has gone on to score 21 goals in 207 appearances with the Old Lady.
