Mexico will play their final friendly match before the 2026 World Cup starts. Mexico will host Serbia at the Estadio Nemesio Diez in Toluca, Mexico.

Mexico will play the opening game of the 2026 World Cup next week against South Korea at the Estadio Azteca. Mexico has played two friendly games before this match against Serbia.

After beating Ghana 2-0 in Puebla, Mexico, the Mexican national team traveled to Pasadena, California, to face Australia at the Rose Bowl. Mexico won the match 1-0 with a goal from Johan Vasquez.

The friendly match against Serbia will mark Mexico's first game with the defined 26-man World Cup roster.

Serbia has not qualified for the World Cup and arrives at this game losing 3-0 to Cape Verde, who will make their World Cup debut this summer.
