Inter Milan wingback Luis Henrique shone in Saturday’s emphatic 4-0 Serie A victory over Como at San Siro.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 23-year-old’s resurgence could make him a mid-season signing for the club.
It’s been a difficult start to life in Serie A for Luis Henrique, who joined the Nerazzurri for a handsome €23 million transfer fee in June.
The Brazilian’s disappointing form had seen him tumble down the pecking order at Giuseppe Meazza.
However, after several stressful months, the former Marseille star is starting to find his footing under Cristian Chivu.
Henrique picked up his first assist in Serie A last weekend, setting up Lautaro Martinez for Inter’s opening goal against Como.
Despite being taken off in the 77th minute, he was among the home team’s standout performers.
Furthermore, he showed flashes of his Ligue 1 form, playing with renewed confidence and determination.
With Inter still unable to count on Denzel Dumfries, Henrique’s return to form provides a timely boost for Chivu.
